Rift of the NecroDancer is an action rhythm-based video game developed by Brace Yourself Games and Tic Toc Games. In the game, you control a character who must navigate procedurally generated dungeons while keeping to the beat of the music. It takes place in a fictional world where the player character, named Cadence, is transported into a crypt ruled by a powerful NecroDancer. As you progress through the levels, you can collect gold and other items to upgrade your equipment and gain new abilities. The entirety of the game features a variety of bosses that you must defeat in order to progress to the next level.

Although it doesn't have a traditional plot, there are various hints and clues throughout the game that suggest a deeper lore and backstory to the world of this game. For example, some of the playable characters have ties to specific factions or characters within their world. However, there’s a steep learning curve to keep in mind for mastering the gameplay mechanics.
